What it is
The GoTags Silent Silicone Slide-On Pet ID Tag is a personalized ID tag made entirely of silicone that slides onto a collar strap rather than dangling from a split ring. GoTags' official product page says it takes up to four lines of laser-engraved text, calls the engraving permanent and scratch- and rub-resistant, and describes the tag as silent, with no jingle. The page lists three sizes by collar width: Small fits 3/8 inch collars, Medium fits 5/8 inch collars, and Large fits 3/4 to 1 inch collars. Treat those statements as the maker's own wording checked against the live official GoTags page on 2026-09-25 ET, not as independent test results.
Why it matters for a light-coat Lab puppy
The directory's ID-tag job is readable contact information, secure attachment, and low fuss. A slide-on tag sits flat against the collar, so there is no ring to snag or jingle and nothing swinging into the water bowl, and silicone rinses off easily after sand, pool, and bath days in Tampa Bay. It gives a second style beside the Red Dingo stainless-steel hanging tag. Measure the collar width before choosing a size, keep the engraved lines short enough to stay legible, and move or replace the tag when a growing puppy changes collars.
Not this
This is not a GPS tracker, a microchip, or a replacement for keeping microchip registration current. It only works on a flat collar strap of the listed width, so it does not fit a harness-only setup, and a puppy that is sized up to a wider collar may need a new tag. Check the tag for chewing or wear, and do not let a puppy chew it. This listing covers only the GoTags Silent Silicone Slide-On Pet ID Tag at https://gotags.com/products/silicone-slide-on-dog-tag-personalized. It does not cover GoTags metal tags, embroidered collars, GPS products, retailer variants, referral links, or tracking URLs. Red Dingo remains a separate directory seed for the same gear type. This page is an official alternate, not a ranking.
